This ministry of our church provides free Shensei Hapkido training every Friday night at 7:00pm. Our training is suitable for both children and adults, but we ask that children be at least 7 years old due to the nature of the techniques and throws that we teach. The core principals of Shinsei Hapkido are evade, invade, and control. You can learn more about the origins of this martial art at shinseihapkido.com and the ministry at karateforchrist.com. Our instructors are Jeremy and Hannah Guthrie.

 

This course is unique in that it is very Christ focused. We do not teach Eastern Mysticism or Buddhism, but self-defense training accompanied with Bible teaching. Students are required to attend the Bible teaching that concludes each session.
